It takes a community of dedicated and talented people
to help fulfill the VHEC’s mandate of Holocaust based, anti-racism
education. It is with deep appreciation that the VHEC staff recognizes
its valued volunteers who contribute their time and skills to the
work of our centre.

- Translation (Yiddish, German, Polish)
- Exhibit installation
- Mailing assistance
- Library assistance
- Writing articles & book reviews for the newsletter Zachor
- Data entry
- Notary assistance for survivor documents
- Legal restitution assistance
- Publicity
Docents are enthusiastic, committed volunteers who lead school tours
and occasional public tours of VHEC exhibits. The VHEC is looking
for people with strong communication skills, who are available mornings
or afternoons at least one day a week, Monday to Friday during the
school year. Teaching experience, knowledge of history and spoken
French are assets. Full training is provided.
