Banned Book Club

The new Banned Book Club, for teens and adults, will meet at the Isaac Waldman Jewish Public Library this fall to discuss books by or about Judy Blume, Anne Frank, Elie Wiesel and Jodi Picoult, all of which have been historically challenged or banned.

The club will meet at 3:30 p.m. on the following dates:

September 18th: Read your favourite Judy Blume book! (Banned Judy Blume books include: Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret, Tiger Eyes, Forever, Deenie, Blubber)

October 30th: Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl OR Anne Frank’s Diary: The Graphic Adaptation

November 20th: Night by Elie Wiesel

December 18th: The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
