The VHEC, in partnership with the Jewish Film Festival, is pleased to present a film screening for A Real Pain, written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg. The film follows two third-generation cousins, played by Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, as they embark on a group heritage tour of Poland.

Join the VHEC on April 9, 2025, for a special event honouring Ruth Kron Sigal’s legacy. The day begins with a City proclamation at Vancouver City Hall, recognizing Ruth’s dedication to Holocaust remembrance, followed by a celebratory tea at the Sidney and Gertrude Zack Gallery.
