The VHEC, in partnership with the Jewish Film Festival, is pleased to present a film screening for A Real Pain, written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg. The film follows two third-generation cousins, played by Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, as they embark on a group heritage tour of Poland.

A Real Pain is a finely crafted exploration of loss and belonging—melancholic, yet at times startlingly funny. Eisenberg portrays a fidgety, outwardly unremarkable man who, alongside his complicated cousin (Culkin, Succession), navigates their shared history on this poignant journey.
