Fraud Alert: Unsolicited Holocaust Compensation Letters

Important notice: The Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre (VHEC) is aware of fraudulent letters being sent by an organization calling itself the “Holocaust Survivors Compensation Program” or “JHCC,” regarding potential Holocaust compensation or restitution.

The VHEC is not affiliated with this organization. The Claims Conference has also confirmed that it is not affiliated with the organization and has not authorized these communications.

We are taking this matter seriously and are working with Jewish community security and local police to investigate the fraudulent correspondence.

If you have received one of these letters, please do not provide personal, financial, identification, banking, family history or other sensitive information, and do not send payment or take further action without independently verifying the organization.
