Please join us for our annual High Holiday Cemetery Service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in the chapel at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery. This year the hesped (eulogy) and keynote descendant address will be delivered by Rabbi Levi Vernai.

The program affords participants the opportunity to mourn those who perished during the Holocaust and honour local Holocaust survivors who have passed away this past year. We conclude the program at the Holocaust memorial monument at the cemetery. The program is presented by the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre, Schara Tzedeck Synagogue and the Jewish War Veterans.
