Remembering the Holocaust is one of the ways to prevent it from happening again. And remembering and understanding the Holocaust through a personal eyewitness account—an individual’s story—is incredibly powerful.
Witnessing a first-hand account of a survivor, or viewing an artefact, such as a single shoe or a visa to safety, can help impart the enduring lessons of the Holocaust in truly powerful and inspiring ways.
