El ladrón de estampillas

The VHEC and VJFF invite you to attend a screening of The Stamp Thief, directed by Dan Sturman. This film has been described by the VJFF as “an immersive cat-and-mouse journey that solves a decades-old crime.”

The film follows a Nazi officer in occupied Poland during the Second World War who is assigned to catalogue valuables taken from Jews sent to concentration camps. Over time, he abuses his role, stealing millions of dollars’ worth of stamps from Holocaust victims.

Seventy years later, a group of Americans travel to Poland to find the stamps and return them to their rightful owners.
