Join us for an evening of commemoration marking the 83rd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, a testament to resistance and courage in the face of oppression.

The program will feature a keynote address by Holocaust survivor Malka Pischanitskaya, introduced by her granddaughter, Sophie Turner, and remarks from her daughter and second-generation descendant, Inna Turner. Rabbi Dan Moskovitz of Temple Sholom will also speak.

Cantor Shani Cohen will direct the musical program, with Wendy Bross Stuart as associate music director. Songs and prayers of remembrance will be performed by singers who are descendants of Holocaust survivors.

The event honours survivors and offers space to remember and mourn, while inviting all of us to renew our commitment to never forget. Holocaust survivors in attendance will be invited to participate in a candlelighting ceremony.
