  The VHEC has video documented over 200 local survivors since 1985 including concentration camp survivors, child survivors, and those who survived in hiding or as partisans. Synopses are available for most of these oral testimonies.

Robbie Waisman, an Oral History

Robbie Waisman was fourteen years old when he was liberated from Buchenwald concentration camp. His oral history was used as part of the VHEC’s 1997 exhibit Open Hearts – Closed Doors, the Journey to Canada discovery kit and the Open Hearts – Closed Doors on-line exhibit.
